Horticultural Agronomist

Hutchinsons are a market leader in providing agronomy advice to the horticulture market in the UK and are excited to be seeking a new agronomist to join our well established team. We are seeking an individual based in the West of the UK, who is passionate about the horticultural sector and wants to make a valuable contribution to our customers businesses, whilst continuing your own development.  

Our opportunities are open to those currently active in agronomy roles and to those with horticultural experience who would relish a stimulating and rewarding career in agronomy. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who can help us develop our expanding technology portfolio into the Horticulture sector. Mapping, remote sensing and technology integration are key areas of interest for the business.

About you

• Previous experience in horticulture, ideally in an advisory capacity, although other horticultural experience will be considered.
• Experience or interest in tree fruit preferred but not essential.
• BASIS qualification would be ideal, but not essential.
• A willingness to travel across the West of the UK to visit clients on site.
• Passionate about the world of horticulture and looking to make a positive impact on your customers business.
