Farm Business Consultant

Due to the continued growth of our Services offering, we are looking for a Farm Business Consultant to join our team. Working directly alongside our Head of Farm Business Consultancy we are seeking an intellectual, highly driven individual to assist in the day to day running of our Farm Business Consultancy service.

This is a dynamic role which will include client facing work including preparing budgets, gross margins and cashflows. You will also be conducting farm business appraisals, undertaking grant funding applications and assisting with farm management responsibilities. In addition, the candidate will work closely with our wider agronomy and services team supporting in service delivery, attend industry shows and events, championing Hutchinsons’ full range of services, demonstrating how this brings value on farm.

We offer a comprehensive training package and will also support you to gain further industry qualifications providing a real opportunity for career progression within this growing team.

The candidate:

• Graduate, with a relevant degree for example, Farm Business Management (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated with an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude, and a good willingness to learn
• Keen eye for detail
• A team player, reliable and friendly with strong communication skills and professional integrity, able to build strong relationships
• Exceptional organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments and consistently meeting deadlines
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Practical farming experience preferred
