As a leader in supply and distribution to the agricultural industry, we are looking for a full-time on-site Depot Supervisor to manage the day to day running of our depot based in Carlisle.
If you have experience within both the warehouse and logistics industries along with supervisory experience and are looking for the next step in your career, this could be the ideal position for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the depot.
- Daily management of 2 delivery drivers + 1 seasonal driver
- Taking accountability for depot costs, influencing control, health and safety, storage of chemicals in accordance to BASIS and ADR regulations.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and communication to relevant colleagues across the company and customers you deal with.
- Utilising the Company systems (such as Quartix & MaxOptra) to enhance efficiency and cost management.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
- Experience within the warehouse and logistics industries
- Driver’s License (Required)
What we can offer you:
- Monday to Friday 0800-1700 (mid-March to mid-June 0700-1700)
- Some Saturday morning openings March through to June
- 22 days holiday (plus Bank Holiday’s)
- Shutdown between Christmas and New Year
