Are you a qualified HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driver looking for a permanent role with a better work/life balance?
What’s on offer:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00–17:00
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (including optional early starts and some Saturdays during peak season)
- Well-maintained Class 2 vehicles
- Local routes only – no nights away
- Open to newly qualified drivers
- Annual pay reviews
- Permanent contract with full training provided
What you’ll do:
- Deliver agricultural products to local farms – no long-haul
- Start your day assisting the warehouse team with picking, loading and paperwork checks
- Carry out vehicle safety inspections and secure your load
- Deliver and collect goods across the local area
- Some manual handling required – you must be physically fit
- Follow all safety protocols and transport regulations (training provided)
Additional Info:
- Overtime from March to June (peak season), including optional Saturday work
- Early starts from 07:00 during the spring & summer = up to 7.5 hours extra pay weekly
- A DBS check will be completed by the employer
