Hutchinsons are looking to recruit a Trainee Agronomist to join our team in Scotland, with particular focus on Fife, Perth and Forfar. Working with our ambitious, growing team we are looking to attract talented individuals to be part of this exciting next chapter.

Working with our experienced team, this role is all about growth and so will suit someone who either already has a network in the area or who is not afraid of building new connections and relationships to develop opportunities.

What do we look for?

  • This role would suit someone currently working on farm, whether in general farm work, qualified sprayer operator or farm management, looking to utilise their skills and develop their career in a different direction. We would also be keen to hear from agriculture (or similar) graduates, or other businesses in the agriculture sector.
  • Knowledge and experience of agriculture and crops.
  • Personable approach, confident in building new professional relationships.
  • High level of motivation and proactivity with the ability to manage yourself and your time.
  • The drive and tenacity to develop a successful career and build a long-lasting customer base.
  • Full drivers licence and willingness to travel to customers and for training.
