Crop Sprayer

As a leading crop production specialist, CAS/Hutchinsons has been operating in the North West for 35 years providing agricultural advice and product supply to growers across the country. We are currently seeking a Sprayer and Tractor Operator to join our team based at our Ormskirk site, with most of the work taking place across Lancashire and Merseyside.

This is a hands-on, varied role, focused on the safe and effective application of agricultural pesticides in line with customer crop spray schedules. The main responsibility of the role will be operating self-propelled crop sprayers for general arable crop spraying, while ensuring a clean working environment and maintaining accurate records.

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to work independently and take initiative.
• Have an understanding of chemistry.
• Be flexible with working hours, particularly during peak seasons.
• Possess strong record-keeping skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Due to the seasonal nature of our industry, the successful candidate must be flexible with working hours, which will include overtime and weekend work during peak periods. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. Full training will be provided, along with opportunities to pursue professional qualifications.

Possessing NPTC PA1, PA2, & PA4s spray certificates is advantageous for this role, but not essential as we will provide full training.
