Farm Business Consultant – East Anglia

Hutchinsons are expanding our Farm Business Consultancy team, and we’re looking for a highly driven and experienced professional to grow with us.

Working alongside our Head of Farm Business Consultancy, you will be helping to shape the future of our services while supporting farmers to build thriving, sustainable businesses. If you’re passionate about farming, enjoy being out on farm, and have an eye for turning challenges into opportunities, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this dynamic, hands-on role, you’ll:

• Collaborate closely with farmers to prepare budgets, gross margins, and cashflows that drive success.
• Conduct farm business appraisals and guide clients through grant funding applications.
• Assist with farm management responsibilities, providing expert advice every step of the way.
• Partner with our wider agronomy and services team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Represent Hutchinsons at industry events and champion our full range of value-adding services.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives working face-to-face with growers and has a passion for delivering value to farming businesses. You will be curious and keen to really understand your customers and their businesses, enabling you to provide high quality, tailored advice and solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience in Farm Business Consultancy and practical farming know-how.
• A proactive, positive mindset with a strong “can-do” attitude.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills, thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• A natural ability to build relationships, combined with professional integrity and a keen eye for detail.
• A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel regularly.
