This year NRoSO members can participate in an interactive arable training event entitled:-

‘Keeping Safe, Legal and Productive’

The Arable course this year comprises these topics:-

  • Introductions
  • Industry statistics
  • Info from BASIS and introduction to the NRoSO Handbook
  • NSTS Results and new sprayers sold in the UK for 2022
  • Official Control Regulations (OCR) in Plant Protection Products
  • PA certificate review
  • Spray application recording and chemical store stock records
  • Personal safety, health and well being
  • Preserving Clean water – Catchment Sensitive Farming
  • Review of new technology
  • Discussion and feedback

Members attending the event will be entitled to 10 NRoSO CPD points and 8 BASIS CPD points, which will be credited after signing the attendance register(s) – there is NO LONGER an online ‘test & check’ exam following the training course.

 

Pricing:

Face-to-face training – Registration will cost £69.00 (Inc VAT) per delegate. This will book your place at the venue and include refreshments, plus a printed arable workbook.

What will delegates receive on the day?

Each training session is of ½ day (3 hours) length and delegates will have:-

  • 3 hours of interactive training on the course syllabus
  • Delegate Work Book incorporating relevant best practice guides
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Refreshments

Throughout the course discussion and sharing of ideas and experiences are encouraged.

This workshop will attract 10 CPD points for National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO) members and 8 CPD points for BASIS members.
