Farm Business Consultant

Due to the continued growth of our Services offering, we are looking for a Farm Business Consultant to join our team. Working directly alongside our Head of Farm Business Consultancy we are seeking a highly driven, experienced individual to assist in the day to day running of our Farm Business Consultancy service.

This is a dynamic role which will include client facing work including preparing budgets, gross margins and cashflows. You will also be conducting farm business appraisals, undertaking grant funding applications and assisting with farm management responsibilities. In addition, the candidate will work closely with our wider agronomy and services team supporting in service delivery, attend industry shows and events, championing Hutchinsons’ full range of services, demonstrating how this brings value on farm.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being out on farm and working closely with the growers to support successful farming business.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Farm Business Consultancy role.
• Practical farming experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated with an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude, and a good willingness to learn
• Keen eye for detail
• A team player, reliable and friendly with strong communication skills and professional integrity, able to build strong relationships
• Exceptional organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments and consistently meeting deadlines
• Full clean UK driving licence
